Key Result
40% fewer routing incidents, 99.3% request success rate
The Challenge
T Consulting needed a custom reverse proxy layer to manage request routing, access behavior, and service-level control across internal and client-facing systems. Standard proxy configurations were not enough — the project required custom logic around headers, authentication behavior, service routing, logging, and controlled fallbacks.
The core issues: inconsistent routing behavior across services, limited control over request handling, manual troubleshooting when services failed, a need for better observability, and authentication and access patterns that did not fit standard tooling cleanly.
Our Solution
We built a custom reverse proxy to sit between users, internal services, and downstream applications, handling request inspection, routing, access checks, error handling, and logging in a more predictable way.
The work included custom routing logic, support for service-specific rules, structured logging for easier debugging, improved fallback and error-handling behavior, support for authentication-related flows, and a cleaner foundation for future integrations.

The Results
The reverse proxy gave T Consulting a more controlled and reliable way to manage traffic between systems, and reduced the amount of manual troubleshooting required when requests failed or routed incorrectly.
- Average response time improved by 30%
- Routing-related incidents reduced by 40%
- Debugging time cut by ~50%
- Manual support escalations reduced by 30%
- Successful request handling rate of 99.3%
"He helped us build a proxy layer that handled the messy parts of routing and access control without making the system harder to maintain. It solved the immediate issue and gave us a stronger foundation for future work."
